Welcome to The Clear Horizon Counselling Practice

Your support to a clearer future

Get in touch with Lizzie

Counselling is a time and space for you; it is a place for us to explore – together – your thoughts, feelings and actions in an environment that is safe and free from judgement.

If you are bored of the same patterns of behaviour, if you are done with feeling the way you do or you simply would just like someone on the outside to speak to then please get in touch.

I provide individual online, telephone and in person counselling for children, young people and adults with available sessions in the evenings at no extra cost.

Together we can help you: offload, process and keep going.

About me

Everyone experiences life differently and it’s important to me that you have an opportunity to be heard.

I’m Lizzie and I am a person-centred integrative counsellor. This means I can support you by using different processes and approaches to help you understand what is going on for you. This maybe talking, psychoeducation, working creatively, through music or visual means; whatever works for you I am here for.

My qualifications include:

  • Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy
  • Professional Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
  • Some additional topics that I have covered in training in recent years have been: working with children, autism and bereavement.

In addition to owning my private practice, I am also currently working at Fegans. This organisation is a charity based in the South East who support children and families. Through my work here, I have experience working with children who are going through anxiety, depression, stress, grief, disordered eating, self-harm, trauma, low self-esteem, low self-confidence and phobias.

It can be hard saying out loud that things aren’t quite right or to say, ‘I’m not ok’. It can feel uncomfortable to acknowledge that we aren’t quite feeling ourselves, or that things are just a little too much at the moment. There is no shame in this. There is no shame in those thoughts or feelings that can seem to be taking over your life.

Please know that:

This process isn’t as scary as your mind may have you believe.

There is always someone who wants to listen to you or simply just ‘be’ with you.

You can get in touch if you are interested in working alongside me.
